October 1, 2013: Braves beat Reds 7-2 in NL Wild Card game

The Braves kick off the 2013 playoffs with a win over the Reds. It is the 2nd straight year that the Braves play in the wild card game, but this one turns out better than last year's when they lost to the Phillies. Evan Gattis hit a 2-run HR in the first for the Braves that set the pace. Kris Medlen goes 6 strong for the win.

The Braves now get to play the Nationals in the divisional round. The Braves barely took the season series from their division rival, winning 10 out of 19 games.
