October 11, 2013: Cardinals 4 Nationals 3 (Cardinals lead NLCS, 1-0)

What started as a pitchers duel between Adam Wainwright and Gio Gonzalez changed course quickly when the Cardinals loaded the bases in the top of the 6th and David Freese deposited one in the seats to turn a 1-0 deficit into a 4-1 Cardinals lead. The Nationals pulled within one on a 2-run Bryce Harper home run in the 7th, but fell short in the 9th against Cards closer Edward Mujica. Chad Tracy of the Nats had some big pinch hits during the regular season, but he ends the game by striking out with the tying run on 2nd and the winning run on 1st.
