Designated hitter Delmon Young slammed a homerun and had 3 RBI as the
Philadelphia Phillies came back to win one over Boston Red Sox, 6 to
5.

Philadelphia scored the winning runs in the top of the 9th inning plating 2
runs on 2 base hits. After an out was recorded, Jimmy Rollins was the
sparkplug when he lashed a single. Ryan Howard was a strikeout victim,
unable to help out. Young then clubbed a two-run home run. Antonio
Bastardo(2-1) was helped out by Jonathan Papelbon who pitched a perfect ninth
and recorded his 16th save.

Koji Uehara(2-1) ended up with the loss in relief. 'We just kept swinging the
bats and didn't give up,' Young said. 'If you just keep trying good things
can happen!'
